Community Infrastructure Levy Fund

Apply for a Grant

Wetherby Town Council receives a share of Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) funding from Leeds City Council to help fund infrastructure required to help mitigate the impact of new developments in its parish.

The Council allocates CIL funds in line with its agreed 2023-2028 Action & Development Plan, which is shaped by the aims set out in Wetherby’s Neighbourhood plan.

In accordance with the Community Infrastructure Levy Regulations 2010, Wetherby Town Council welcomes applications from all organisations and constituted bodies seeking CIL funding towards “The provision, improvement, replacement, operation, or maintenance of infrastructure; or anything else that is concerned with addressing the demands that development places on an area.”

We recommend applicants for CIL funding read the Council’s Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) Policy and eligibility criteria outlined in the Community Infrastructure Levy Guidance in full prior to making an application.
