Mayor Dawn Payne and Deputy Mayor Connor Mullhall recently attended the WiSE Christmas event in Wetherby, showing their support for the elderly community. Earlier this year, Wetherby Town Council awarded a £250 grant to WiSE to support entertainment at their Memory Café.
At the event, Amanda Walton provided lively entertainment, getting attendees singing and dancing to cherished old favorites and festive Christmas carols. The atmosphere was filled with joy, bringing the community together for a memorable celebration.
Mayor Dawn Payne remarked, “It was great to attend the event and support the great work that WiSE do in the community. It was good to see everyone in the festive spirit.”
