Wetherby Town Council is inviting applications for the vital role of Town Clerk, the Council’s most senior officer and an essential part of the team delivering high-quality services for the local community.

This exciting opportunity comes at a key time as the Council continues to implement its strategy, support local events, enhance green spaces, and respond to the needs of a growing town. The Town Clerk acts as the principal advisor to the council, manages staff and projects, and ensures the smooth running of day-to-day operations and legal compliance.

Applicants should be organised, proactive, and community-focused, with excellent communication skills. Previous experience in local government or a similar role is desirable.
